Comfort Suites Burlington Washington

During our visit to western Washington, my retired spouse and I stayed at Comfort Suites Burlington Washington for seven nights with our service dog. Upon check-in, we informed the staff about our service animal and filled out the necessary paperwork. Caleb, the person checking us in, didn't charge us any fee as our dog was a service animal, which was expected. Upon our return to the hotel lobby after gathering our belongings, our dog barked, and Caleb immediately accused us of scamming. He claimed that service animals don't bark and demanded we show him proof of our dog's certification. Despite informing him of the legal requirements, Caleb continued to insist that he knew the law and that we were liars. He then illegally charged us a pet fee. To make matters worse, Caleb's hostility continued throughout our stay. He gave us evil stares or laughed at us and pointed fingers at us each time we entered the lobby. We felt harassed and bullied, and our civil rights were being violated. On the day of our checkout, we noticed that one of our tires was flat. After having it repaired, we discovered that it had been slashed, possibly with a box cutter.

Our seven-night stay at Choice Suites in Burlington, Washington was marred by the poor treatment we received from Caleb. His behavior towards us was unacceptable and left us feeling extremely dissatisfied with our experience. We believe that it is important for guests to receive respectful and courteous service, and unfortunately, this was not the case during our stay. We hope that the management at Choice Suites will take steps to ensure that this type of behavior is not repeated in the future and that guests are treated with the level of professionalism and kindness that they expect and deserve.
